Alright I've played around a bit and... we got some bugs. Nothing too big to fix but the ones I've experienced are due to how slow the text loads. I had essentially been clicking a bit fast and caused things to happy that shouldn't. For example, when finding the key under the rug I somehow got access to the image of the woman and tent losing all interactivity. Thankfully I was able to reload a previous save and get the key no problem. The dining room also soft locked me when trying to get the key I somehow clicked fast enough to remove not only the text prompt preventing all interactivity. I've also seen interaction prompts in places that shouldn't happen and would not leave though thankfully just hovering over the option and leaving it resolved it. On the note of both the new scenes and updated dialogue, I really like the changes made. It is a lot more encouraging to not only repeatedly interact with certain objects I was confused. So, I had thought when visiting the horny Aunt I needed to be drunk enough to have the courage to visit since that was what you needed for the ghost. But then found that I just needed to click on the football to bypass the fear. Silly but it'd be interesting if you being sober or buzzed would affect how you talk and interact with other people. I can appreciate the overhaul of the update to allow future installments to go without much worry to the starting base of the game. Looking forward to the next one, take your time I hope you can improve the text box's speed so that I don't accidentally click out of bounds.
I was quite happy to see the news of a new update. Quite thorough and to the point. I'm going to start off a fresh file since I would imaging this version might be incompatible with the old files used before. Would that be the case here and for future versions? Either way, I'll give a more closer inspection to the contents themselves once I get this thing loaded and played through each. I'm happy to see this get continued.
You would be correct about this version being incompatible with previous saves, but that's ONLY because I redid the Mom's story (which badly needed it). I don't plan on having any future updates screw up save game compatibility because I'm pretty happy with all the existing story lines so far, I'll only need to add new content. If I ever decide I need to pull the rug out again, I'll implement a "For Returning Players" option when creating a new game that allows you to start as if you had completed the previous patch. Thank you for your interest in my game!
